The Jersey Shore

It is the end of June and for my first blog I decided to write about the Jersey Shore. When June rolls around, the Jersey Shore becomes a popular destination for many people. But Why? Why do people love to sit in traffic for hours just to get to the shore? Since a lot of people who head to the Jersey Shore are from out of state, I have an advantage that a lot of people don't have. That advantage is living in New Jersey and knowing the roads that are less traveled. The only time I have to wait in traffic is when I am really close to the beach. The other thing that I am trying to figure out about the Jersey Shore is why people prefer certain beaches over others. I understand that there maybe a history of your family going to the same beach and I know some beaches offer things that other beaches don't offer, but anywhere you go on the Jersey Shore, you will find a lot of the same things to do. The all offer a beach, miniature golf, restaurants, shopping, and fishing. When I go to the Jersey Shore, I don't go to just one beach, I go to different beaches depending on what I am looking to do. If I am going to the beach to hang out with friends, I might go to Point Pleasant or Seaside heights. If I am going to the beach by myself, I might go to L.B.I to go fishing. I am now finished with my pointless rant about the Jersey Shore. Hopefully by the end of the summer I can figure out a few answers to my questions about people traveling to the Jersey Shore for the summer.
